1

Start this step on how to draw a bathtub with an oval shape for the body of the tub and then draw a horizontal line on the top. Add two leg lines and then proceed onto the next step.

2

You will now start drawing out the shape of the clawfoot tub as you see here and then draw the lips of the tub as well.

3

Here is your last drawing step and all you have to do is draw out the shape of the ring of the tub and then finish drawing out the clawfeet of the tub as well. Erase the guidelines and shapes and then move to the line art step.

Here is what your easy looking tub looks like when you are done learning "how to draw a bathtub step by step". You can color it in and add it into your very own bathroom scene.

Description: Well I got a request to do a tutorial on a bathtub and I wasn’t sure if I should have drawn out a whole bathroom scene, or just the tub itself. So needless to say I did a simple lesson on “how to draw a bathtub” step by step. The bathtub is probably one of the most favorite wash units along side the shower. A shower is good if you want to quickly wash up, but the bathtub is used when you want to soak in some nice hot water, with maybe some softening bubbles, and a few candles. Do people really use candles when they bathe? Well I don’t know about everybody else, but I’m pretty sure that a lot of people out there young and old, like to use candles once in a while when relaxing in a hot tub. I actually lite a few candles myself before and it really does add that little extra relaxation to the night or day. Anyway, one very popular tub is the clawfoot bathtub which is usually all white and very roomy inside. Then again you may live in an apartment and all you have access to is a shower/tub combo, which is fine also as long as you place a hefty towel on the floor to catch the water that will most likely spill over the edges. The great thing about a clawfoot tub is that they are tall, and they can hold a good amount of water when you really want to soak. Well I guess that is all I have to say bout the tub, it is now time I show you “how to draw a bathtub” step by step. Enjoy the simplicity of this lesson, I will return with two more. Peace out and happy drawing.
