How to Draw Sci-Fi Art

Step 1.

Start off with the mound that is made up of green grass and flowers. The geo style of the mound should consist of layers which look like ridged bumps.

Step 2.

Next, draw some loose matter that is coming apart from the ground. This is the pull that is happening with the magnetic suction from the alien spaceship.

Step 3.

Next, we will draw the figure or girl that is being lifted from earth. This is just the back view of her so you will need to start at the head and work your way down. Notice how she seems weightless. This is because the gravity that is pulling her up to the atmosphere is strong enough to leave her feeling paralyzed. Add all the detailing and definition to her hair and clothes.

Step 4.

Lastly, draw the swirl of smoke or fog that is in front of her. This is the energy being reflected on Earth from the invisible beam pulling her to the ship. When you are done you can erase the mistakes you might have made.

Step 5.

That's it, you are all done. Now you can color the art and have fun with drawing the scenery in the sky.

Hello everyone. I hope folks have been enjoying their Summer days. I have been super busy with various projects and moving to a new place. But just because things have been hectic in my life, doesn't mean I will stop uploading tutorials for everyone to enjoy. Here is something I worked on that came out pretty nice. I was thinking of a very pretty Sci-Fi style piece of art and I came up with this. So, here is how to draw a sci-fi scene, step by step. This is just a beautiful night sky with the hues of green and blue. The girl in the scene is being lifted by an unseen alien ship which is preparing to carry her off into the galaxy. I had a lot of fun with this piece and it will go down with one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy drawing Sci-art. I will be back with some other cool lessons so stick around.
