How to Draw a Little Girl

Make the guide shapes for the head and torso like so. When that is done sketch in the facial guidelines and then the limb guides.

Create the shape of the face and then draw the hairline which is nicely curled with a bow clipped in on top.

You can now draw the shapes of her bog eyes, then draw the bubble from her mouth. Add the thick lashes and then the nose and eyebrows.

Let's draw in the dress next. Draw the torso, shoulders and length of the dress. When that is done you can add the ruffle on the sleeve and then a collar around neck line.

Add the ruffle layer line along the bottom of her dress, then draw a ribbon around the waist.

Here you will draw in the legs and shoes, then draw in her right arm and hand. I also have her a pearl style bracelet.

All you have to do to finish this lesson is to draw the head shape and hair style. All little girls that do their hair love a pretty curly style. Erase the mistakes and then you're done.

Description: Unfortunatley this lesson has been sitting in my tut folder for almost two weeks. I am just now finally getting around to uploading the lesson. I guess I delayed because of the holiday and all the chaos that comes with it. But now that it's over, here is a lesson that will show you how to draw a little girl, step by step. This child is not just standing there doing nothing, she is actually in a playful pose and blowing a bubble. All little kids love chewing gum, so why not draw a little girl chewing gum wearing a red polka dot dress. If you like drawing people, this lesson is for you. Adios folks!
