Drawing Kaneki and Mask

We will start by drawing the head guide and shoulder guidelines. Once that is done you will add the facial guidelines too.

Up next, begin drawing the lower portion of Kaneki's mask. This is the odd shaped opening for the mouth and the holes for the nostril holes.

Up next, draw in the gum line and then draw the teeth which are perfectly aligned.

We will now draw in Kaneki's head and hairstyle. Once the detailing is adding to the hair for texture, you can draw in the ears or earlobes.

Add the stitching on the nose bridge and then draw Kaneki's eye which is in a stressed expression. Add definition around the eye and then add that brow and crinkle.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw the shape of his neck, then draw in the shoulders in the form of his leather jacket. Then add the wrinkles or creases in the jacket material. Finish all the other minor touches and you're done.

Once the lines, guides and mistakes have been removed, your drawing of Kaneki and his mask should look like the one you see here. Color him in and show it off.

Description: I've done a tutorial on this character from Tokyo Ghoul before so I will keep this description short. I wanted to do another lesson on drawing Kaneki because the other I have is him without his mask. I think Ken Kaneki is a super cool character from Tokyo Ghoul and I know many of you have been waiting for this lesson.
