Fire Horse Drawing

Let us begin with the guides for your fire horse. Start with a small egg shape for the head and then draw the guidelines for the snout and neck.

Next, using the guides begin drawing the horse's snout and then draw in the mouth. When that is done you can go ahead and draw the jaw structure, then you're done for now.

We will now draw in the eye, nostril flare, and then the indents to the snout and cheek. This will create the structure or texture of the horse's face.

Go ahead and draw in the teeth and rest of the mouth formation like you see here.

We will continue on by drawing the rest of the face and head. When that is done draw the curved shape of the neck and then add the indents to the neck which exposes the muscle in the neck.

You are almost done. All you need to do now is draw in the fiery hair or mane for your fire horse. As you can see I went wild and drew something extravagant. You can keep it simple if you like, that is your choice.

Lastly, draw the flames coming from the nose and mouth, then start erasing the mistakes.

Description: The description for this lesson is going to be short and sweet because I have done a few tutorials on drawing a fire horse. The reason why I did another is because I was asked to make one with the horse's mane flames instead of actual hair. I had a lot of fun with creating this tut and I hope all you folks out there like it too. I will be back with other lessons so stick around to see what they are.
