how to draw dug from up

How to Draw Dug from UP

Step 1.

Drawing Dug the mutt is a very easy thing to accomplish. All you have to do is draw three circles, one for the head, one for his body, and one for his rear end and hips. Once the shapes are drawn out you can add the facial guidelines and then the short curled line for his tail.

Step 2.

Here you will start drawing out the facial portions of Dug's face. Start with the snout and then draw a bog round nose tip. Next draw two small circles for his eyes and draw his teeth and hanging tongue.

Step 3.

Sketch out the beginning lines to form a shaggy coated dog. Draw the chest first and then the shape of his head, ears, and front legs. Detail the tongue and teeth, then move to the next step.

Step 4.

Draw out teh shaggy lines for the back of Dug's body and then finish off drawing out his limbs. You will detail the paws both front and back and then add some chest fuzz as you can see here.

Step 5.

Now you have reached your last drawing step and as you can see you will draw out Dug's collar and add the detailing with it as well. Sketch out the short fuzzy tail and then color in the eyes and detail the nose. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 6.

This is what your mutt should look like when you are done. Color him in and you have just finished this lesson on "how to draw Dug from UP" step by step.

Another Up character from Disney’s new movie that premiered in theaters a couple weeks ago. This next character that I am going to give you a lesson on was drawn out of request from a member a few weeks ago. I am going to teach you “how to draw Dug from UP step by step". Dug is the pet and friend of young Russell in the movie. From the clips that I viewed it looks like Dug is a very funny character which is probably why he was requested as a tutorial. Even though Dug doesn’t belong to the pack of dogs that is lead by “Alpha”, he still wears the communicative neck brace that allows him to communicate with Russell and the old man. Dug is a very easy character to draw and I know that you will have fun with this tutorial on “how to draw Dug from UP step by step“. I do have to go again because I have to get ready to go live in another hour or so. I will meet you guys later, but for now tackle this lesson and have fun drawing it. Adios Amigos.
