1

Begin with drawing two guide shapes for the head and body. When that is done sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

Begin drawing the structure of the chick's head like so. This is just a couple bumps to form the cheek and head.

3

Draw the body next, and then draw the left wing.

4

You can now draw the chick's feet. There should be three toes on each foot and it should be drawn in a playful style.

5

Let's get started with the face. Use the facial guidelines to draw and color in the eyes. When that is done draw the beak and then add some feathery fluff on the chick's chest.

6

For the final drawing step all you have to do is draw some feathers on top of the chick's head. This is a common trait that people draw on chicks so do the same here. Erase the mistakes followed by the guides.

7

Here is the line art. Now just have some fun coloring in your baby chick. You can even use some pastel colors for an Easter theme.

Description: What is more exciting then opening up a box on Easter morning and finding a cute baby chick? I have never personally had that experience because I grew up in the city as a kid, but I know a lot of people who have farms, or their own houses have had a surprise like that before. Today I will be showing you how to draw a baby chick, step by step. This baby chick is going to be so simple to recreate because I made sure that it was an easy design concept that anyone can tackle. There are so many kids who will be drawing Easter bunnies, chicks, ducklings, and eggs to decorate their houses with. Whenever Easter rolls around I always get a warm fuzzy feeling inside, almost like the way a baby chick looks. Anyways, have fun and be sure to stay put because I will be uploading more Easter stuff to draw.
