Let's begin. Draw the head/face guide and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

Begin sketching out the actual shape of Deadpool's face. The bottom half is spaced out for the sword blades to be placed.

3

Use the facial guidelines to draw out his eyes. One eye is popped open and the other is squinting. Add the detailing around the eyes, between the eyes and forehead.

4

Here you will draw in the first blade from his signature sword. Add the scuff marks on the blade for added detail and draw the detailing to the tip of the sword.

5

Next, draw the other sword blade the same way you did the first one. Don't forget the scuff marks on the blade.

6

For the last drawing step draw in the pattern on his mask around the eyes, then draw the shoulders and neck muscles, and lastly draw the point for the hooded mask. Erase the mistakes and guides, then you're done.

Description: I was playing around with some sketching for Deadpool because I wanted to do something that was different and unique. So as I sat there thinking about what to draw, it hit me that maybe a concept of Deadpool with his swords in a crisscross style framing the bottom part of his face would be cool. I'm a big time Deadpool fan especially after watching the movie so here is my take on a Deadpool concept art piece that I think will be enjoyed by other fans of this Marvel Comics superhero. His face stays the same and although the swords are not in full form, I think it showcases Deadpool's character nicely. Anyways, go ahead and have a good time. I still have more submissions so don't stray too far away.
