How to Draw Samurai Jack

1

Let us start with making the guidelines to create the framework for Jack. There should be a head shape and body guidelines in the pose that Jack will be drawn in.

2

Define the shape of Jack's face which is pretty square. Also incorporate the ear.

3

We will now draw in the hairline and then draw in Jack's face which consists of the eyes, nose and mouth. Don't forget his ponytail.

4

We will now draw the body which is covered by his samurai gi. Draw the shape of his thick neck, then draw the shoulders, sleeves, and rest of the clothing which is shaped like a bell.

5

Draw in the seam lines for the sleeve, and front part of the gi. Once that is done draw the obi and then draw the sword sleeve.

6

We will now draw in his Samurai sword and then draw the handle, hand guard and then his hand and arm.

7

Lastly, draw in Jack's feet and toes, then the straps for the clogs. Erase the mistakes and guides.

8

Here is the finished line art. Now you can go ahead and color in your drawing.

Samurai Jack is one of my all time favorite cartoon shows and I will forever love him and the show even if it gets cancelled again. Today we will learn how to draw Samurai Jack, step by step. This time he is done in a nice and clean style with lining that isn't too thick.
