Rotted Apple Drawing Lesson

Begin with a round guide for the apple shape like so.

Next, define the shape of the apple and be sure to make some grooved lines for the rotted areas.

Add the dimple in the top part of the apple, and then draw in the thick stem. Add a leaf and some detailing on the stem as well.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the rotted parts of the apple and then draw in the worm that is coming out of the side. Add detailing to rotted spots and the worm.

When you are done erasing the line art and guides you should have line art that looks like the drawing you see here. Color it in and you are done.

Description: Hidy ho amigos. Today I will be uploading some really cool tuts starting with this one on how to draw a rotted apple, step by step. This is a really cool tut or even concept design just in time for Halloween or any day for that fact. This concept is simple, fun and really gross if you think about biting into this kind of apple. It's red, but dull, ripe but has worms, and soft, but all bruised. You can get wild with this drawing and add anything you like. You can even draw in as many worms as you like it all depends on your preference. I shall return with more tuts so stick around to see what they are.
