How to Draw a Rotting Pumpkin

Start with a guide shape for the pumpkin and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Start shaping out the actual form of the pumpkin. This should be raised layers throughout the pumpkin.

Up next, draw out the shapes of the pumpkin's eyes and make sure that they are dark, thick and bold all around. You will also sketch in some rotted spots as well.

Draw in the frown of the pumpkin. You can make this any style you like. You will also draw the holes and the worms coming out of the holes.

Draw in the stem and you are all done. Erase the mistakes and all the guides as well.

This is the line art. Color in your rotting pumpkin.

Description: There are so many ideas that one can come up with for artwork Halloween and this is just a concept on such art. Today we will be learning how to draw a rotting pumpkin, step by step. As you can see this pumpkin decaying in the worst way. There are worms coming out of the black holes with the flesh with brown spots and soft rooted areas. I really did have a blast with creating this pumpkin concept. It seems as though drawing pumpkins for Halloween is just about one of the only things to create for the popular spooky holiday.
