Drawing Misa Amane

Make the two shapes for the head and torso like so, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Using the head guide first you will define the shape of Misa's face. When that is done start the drawing process for her hair which is thick bangs that's cut above her eyebrows.

Use the facial guidelines to draw out the wide open eyes. The upper lids should be thick and bold as well. Add the small nose and mouth, then proceed to step four.

We will turn our attention on Misa's upper bdoy. Draw the shoulders and her bust. As you can see Misa has a very shapely figure. The arms should also be drawn in and should be pretty stiff looking.

Complete the shape of her body which is the waist and finish drawing the left arm. Add crinkles, wrinkles and folds to the clothing.

We will now draw the straps and lining for the bust area, then draw in her cross necklace as well as the glove lines on her arms.

Up next and lastly, draw the hairstyle fully and then add some strands at the ends and an elastic for the ponytail. Erase your mistakes as well as the guides.

Description: Okay guys, here is the lesson that I said I was going to make and upload after the Light Yagami tut. It's how to draw Misa Amane, step by step. Now, like Light Yagami, I do have a much older tut on Misa which is absolutely horrible. You can tell that my drawing skills back then where brand new and in the process of being improved. I have loved Death Note since I was a kid and I can remember drawing L, Light, Misa, Ryuk, and Near all the dang time. Even though I have outgrown the series, I am still looking forward to seeing the upcoming American release in theaters. I think you will find this version of Misa Amane very sexy and unlike the naive girl she can sometimes be. Adios folks and enjoy.
