Werewolf Profile Drawing Lesson

Step 1.

This is not really a drawing step, it's more like a look at the different styles of mouth or snout variations. As you can see the top mouth is shut, the second is snarling and the third is a straight up growl.

Step 2.

To start the first step you will draw the basic guides for the head and snout. This will also form some of the neck as well.

Step 3.

Starting at the top of the guides begin drawing the brow or forehead. Once that is done sketch in the snout and mouth line. Add that crinkle or wrinkle on top of the nose as well.

Step 4.

Now we will sketch out the bottom jaw and chin. Then draw in the pointed ears, and all the fluff on the side of the face.

Step 5.

Create more detailing to the snout, then draw the nose and eye. Add some shading around the eye to add some darkness.

Step 6.

Draw the werewolf's teeth which are all aligned together nicely.

Step 7.

Once you are done with step six, you can draw in the spiky flow of hair which is standing up along the back of the neck and head. You will also add some fur on the front part of the body and then draw in the muscular shoulder.

Step 8.

You are all done. Just erase your mistakes and guidelines so you can start adding some shading to your werewolf.

Step 9.

Here is the finished drawing when you are all done. Now you can color in your werewolf if you like or leave him as a shaded in sketch.

In an effort to celebrate Halloween early, today I will be giving you a lesson on a werewolf in a side profile manner. So having said that, this is a werewolf profile drawing lesson that will prove to be both very helpful and fun. I don't know why werewolves and wolves are so darn popular with people, but who am I to talk because I love them too. I actually made this lesson yesterday and was supposed to get it uploaded yesterday, but I ran out of time and fell asleep. I think it's because of the two portraits I did on Axl and Hugh. Anyways, have fun and let me know if you enjoyed this tut on drawing a werewolf profile.
