How to Draw Dumo the Sumo From Minions

Start off by making a large tear drop shape for Dumo's body guide and then a smaller shape inside the large one for the head. Draw in the arms and hand guides as well.

We will define the shape of Dumo's face and incorporate the shape of his high styled hair. This is your typical hairstyle for a sumo wrestler.

We will now draw in the Asian style face like so, then proceed to step three.

Let's get started with drawing Dumo's massive body. Draw in the shoulders and thick arms first, then draw in his hands which are in clutched fist pose.

We will now draw the chest and then his stomach. Once that is done draw the mawashi or loin cloth that all sumo's wear. Add the nips and belly button.

Lastly, draw Dumo's legs in a bent pose along with the small feet. Erase those guidelines/shapes you made in step one and then erase any mistakes that followed.

Just add some color to Dumo and you are all done with making another character from the hit film, Minions.

Description: In almost every movie there has to be some sort of bad guy or villain and with the Minions movie that's no different. Along with Bob, Stuart and Kevin, I will also be showing you how to draw Dumo the Sumo from Minions as well. Now because I didn't see the movie yet, I'm not exactly sure what Dumo's role is in the movie, but I know he is the villain and has something to do with getting in the way of the Minions finding a new master. Drawing Dumo is not going to be as easy as drawing Minions; Kevin, Stuart and Bob, but it won't be too difficult either. Just know that you enjoy the fact that there is actually a lesson on drawing Dumo the Sumo instead of just having tuts on the minions. Have fun people and don't forget to leave some feedback!
