How to Draw Lapis Lazuli

Start with the guides for the body and wings like so. These guidelines and shapes will help you draw Lapis.

To start the actual process let's draw in Lapis' hairstyle which is short and puffy like you see here.

You will now draw in the profile of her face followed by some hair that falls on the side of her face.

Now we will draw in her body starting with the back. Draw in her back, arms and some of the front part of her torso as well as the tied knot from her clothing.

Next, draw in Lapis' flowing dress as it bells out from being in flight.

We will now draw in her legs with one raised and the other relaxed. When that is done draw the feet as well.

Finish the drawing by her water wings which are more like globs of water that takes the form of wings. Add some droplets of water splashing around the water wings and then erase your mistakes and the guidelines/shapes.

Description: Remember that lesson I did on Jasper from Steven Universe? Of course you do because Jasper is now in the Top 50 holding the 45th spot. Well anyways, the lesson you are getting right now is on how to draw Lapis Lazuli, step by step. She is the one who has Jasper at the bottom of the sea as she and Jasper are trapped down there. Lapis was free at one time when Steven released her from a mirror. Even though she is playful and friendly with Steven, she often has trouble getting along with Crystal Gems as she feels that they are more in love with Earth than they are their own places or origin. Anyways, when I made this drawing on Lapis Lazuli I wanted her to stand out so I drew her looking majestic.
