Start off with a single line for the rifle guide like so.

2

Up next, begin drawing the stock of the rifle and then draw forestock.

3

We will now draw in the rifle's barrel like so. Notice that it is long and very straight. Add detailing to the forestock and proceed to step four.

4

We will now draw the lever action and trigger. Take your time so it comes out right.

5

Lastly, draw in the detailing to the metal on the side of the rifle. This is also where the ammo gets ejected when extending the lever. Erase your mistakes and you are good to go.

6

Here is your line art or at least how it should look when you are done. Just add some color to your old Winchester rifle.

Description: Some of you who are avid hunters or just rifle collectors will appreciate this tutorial I have for you all. I have done a few rifles in the past but none like the one you see here. Today, I will show you how to draw a Winchester rifle, step by step. Why the Winchester you ask? Well, of course this is just my opinion, but Winchester to me makes the best rifles or has a couple of the best rifles. Winchester makes an awesome 30-30 as well as the popular 1894 which is what you see here in the lesson. This is a lever action riffle that uses .38-55 caliber ammunition. I personally don't own one of these rifles, but if you like western movies this is the rifle you will see on the backs or in the hands of most of the men back in those early days. Drawing a Winchester rifle should be simple and fun so go ahead and enjoy yourselves. I haven't done any weapons lessons lately so I know some of you folks will enjoy this one.
