How to Draw Linus Van Pelt

Start with a nice round shape for the head and then draw in the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines too.

Define the shape of Linus' head like so and don't forget to include the ears.

Add stringy strands for his hair and move to step four.

Color in the eyes for Linus' face and then draw a simple smile along with stub style eyebrows.

Draw the shirt and sleeve and then add a collar for his shirt.

Lastly, add the stripes on his shirt and then draw in the legs and shoes. Add the laces too and his hand. Erase the mistakes and the guides.

Here is the line art folks. Just color Linus in and show off your work.

Description: For my last lesson on a character from the 'Peanuts Movie', here is Lucy Van Pelt's brother, Linus. Having said that, we will learn how to draw Linus Van Pelt, step by step. I know I didn't include it in this lesson, but Linus is the one that walks around with his blanket. My brother reminds me a lot of Linus because he too has a blanket that he has had since he was six years old. He doesn't drag it around with him anymore, but he does always have it on his bed and he said he will never get rid of it because it's something that he is going to pass down to one of his kids someday. I think that is such a sweet gesture, and I am happy he has such a soft spot for that type of stuff. Anyways, have fun drawing Linus and I will be back with my other tuts that I have waiting in my folder to upload.
