How to Draw Chibi Joy

Start with some guides for the head and body.

Define the shape of the face and proceed to step three.

Draw in Joy's hairstyle which is short and a bit messy.

We will now use the facial guidelines to draw in the shapes of the eyes, color in the pupils and then draw the nose and excited mouth.

Draw in Joy's body which also happens to be her one piece dress.

Lastly, draw in her arms and legs and then erase the guidelines, shapes and mistakes.

Description: Since all of the characters from Inside Out are in the top 50, I thought i would make a couple chibi versions of two of the highest ranked lessons in the top 50 starting with how to draw chibi Joy from Inside Out. She is the human girl that the movie is based around and the one who has all the thoughts/emotions up on screen. This was really fun to create and I think she came out looking awesome. So, if you are a fan of Inside Out, than you will love drawing chibi Joy.
