How to Draw Spring Tulips

1

We will begin by drawing three circular shapes for the guides of each tulip bloom, then draw in the guidelines for the stems. At this point the drawings looks like three balloons.

2

Start the second step by drawing the first tulip bloom, then be sure there is a split line to separate the petals.

3

Next, draw the second tulip bloom like so, then proceed to step four.

4

Since there are three tulips I think you know you will be drawing yet another one right now.

5

All the tulip blossoms are drawn in so now all you need to do is add the caps to each one.

6

Here you will draw the thick, hearty stems, and make sure that they join at the base forming a point.

7

And lastly, draw the leafs which are like grass blades that the tulips rest in. Erase your mistakes and then add detailing to the leaves.

8

Here is the finished drawing when you are done. Now you can color in the flowers and you're done.

Description: Flowers, flowers, and more flowers. Boy, do I love drawing these beautiful living plants especially around spring time. It's actually hard to believe that Spring has sprung two days ago because where I am, it's still snowing and there are still piles of snow mounds along every street. Today I will be hoping for better weather and teach you how to draw Spring tulips, step by step. Tulips are actually one of my favorite flowers. The others are daisies, roses and my all time favorite, lilacs. This lesson is going to be super simple to tackle because I made sure that it was going to be. I shall see you in a few so stick around folks.
