How to Draw Cat and Dog Love

1

Make the body guides for both the cat and dog, then draw the tails to form the large heart shape in the middle.

2

Up next, begin drawing the profile for your cat. This consists of the forehead, muzzle, jawline ear, back of head and neck.

3

Almost completely draw in the entire body excluding the tail. You will only see the silhouette of a cat so this means only one leg and paw is outlined.

4

Draw the long tail which is curled at the top forming an arch.

5

The cat is all done. We will begin the drawing process for your dog. I wanted the silhouette of a German Shepherd style dog, so this means the snout is longer, the hair is longer, and the ears are straighter.

6

For the sixth step all you have to do is draw in the back of the dog, then draw in his puffy chest and front legs/paw.

7

Finish the entire drawing by drawing the base of the dog's silhouette body and then draw in a long tail to form the heart shape in the center. Erase your mistakes and guides then you are all set.

8

Here is the what the drawing comes out looking like when you are done. Now you can add some color. I hope you had fun folks.

Description: The idea for this drawing lesson came from an image I seen in my neck of the woods. I thought it was so cute and meaningful, that I waned to make my own version. So here it is, how to draw cat and dog harmony, step by step. This is actually supposed to represent animal love that we humans are supposed to, or should have for our four legged, and two legged creatures. This means dogs, cats, rabbits, frogs, fish, birds, crickets, ferrets or what have you. It's a very simple concept, it's just the profile silhouettes of a cat and dog with their tails joining together forming a heart. You can alter the concept any way you like when learning from this lesson. I just like the one you see before you now.
