How to Draw Valentine Heart Hands

Step 1.

First, let's begin with the heart shape so we have a basic framework to draw the hands curved around them, that way the fingers will form a perfect (or semi perfect) heart shape.

Step 2.

Then, let's draw the thumbs which curve to form the upper part of the heart. This should be drawn with precision and care since everything else will depend on how well you drew this step.

Step 3.

Next, let's draw each individual fingers and the ring which is shown on the middle finger of the man's hand.

Step 4.

Next, draw the woman's fingers and the frame for her ring on her ring finger as well. Notice how her hands are thinner and appear more delicate.

Step 5.

Lastly, finish the drawing by adding the rings and other final details like the nail beds, hair on the guy's arm, etc. Feel free to add your own details to the drawing if you want.

Step 6.

Once you've sketched everything, revise your drawing to make sure things look similar to this line art image. To turn things up a notch, go ahead and ink out your heart hands drawing an show off to your friends for Valentines day! I hope you guys enjoyed this lesson, it was so much fun to make. Thanks and peace out, loves!

Valentines Day is the new holiday event coming up soon this February and I thought it's a good time to start off this mid-January with some lovely dovey tuts for you all! Since I've been getting lots more requests for more heart hand tutorials, I thought I'd create heart hands that is particularly Valentine themed. this should be pretty easy for artists 6+ since there's very few details and features only a few basic shapes. With all that said, you folks should definitely enjoy this one. Don't forget to leave me some feedback to let me know how you or I did on this lesson. Peace and have fun!
