1

Just make a simple egg like shape for the head then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

You will now draw the actual structure of the Buddha's head. This should also include the wide chubby cheeks and the round chin.

3

Next, draw in the wide shaped nose just the nostrils and nose tip.

4

Here we will draw the eyebrows and squinted eyes using thick, bold lines. You may have to add some shading to make these parts of the face solid in color.

5

This Buddha will have an open smile or almost laughing mouth. Draw in the thick or full top lip followed by the teeth.

6

Finish off your easy Buddha drawing by drawing the bottom lip as it is extending down. Erase your guides and even mistakes if you made any.

7

Color inside the mouth and you should have yourself a drawing that looks like the face you see here.

Description: I'm not gonna spend much time talking about this lesson because I have done many Buddha tuts in the past. I was asked if I can make a tutorial on how to draw a Buddha easy using step by step instructions so here it is. I thought the best way to draw an easy Buddha was to use thick, bold lines to showcase the shape of Buddha's face and smile. I think that everyone will be able to tackle this tut with incredible ease, so without further ado, lets start drawing Buddha easy shall we? If you have any other requests just shout them out in an email or on my Facebook page. Adios amigos and have some good fun.
