How to Draw a Dark Face

The first step should start with closed eyelid lines and a mouth line.

Up next, draw in better detail the eye lid. It should be dark with spike like lashes. Draw in the tears that are flowing down her cheeks.

Using a very thick, bold dark line, create the shapes of her eyebrows. You will also need to draw an brow ring which is a piercing through the eyebrow.

The shape and size of the nose is small. I really wanted to showcase the eyes and mouth. So here you will draw a simple lined small nose and draw in two piercings. You can also choose to leave out the piercings.

Up next, draw the thick or full shape of her top lip. It should also be shapely.

Draw in the thick bottom lip but don't draw the mouth closed. Add two piercings in the bottom lip with lip hoop rings.

Now draw the darkness pouring out from the bottom of her mouth. Thick, dark streams of darkness. If you made mistakes erase them now.

That's it, you are all done. Now you can choose to add some color for added dramatics.

Description: So the face I will give you a lesson on today came to me when I was thinking about what other character I could turn dark. I was thinking, why not do a tut on "how to draw a dark face". That is when the creative juices flowing. I started trying a few things and in the end I came up with this. I do hope that you will enjoy this simple but beautiful drawing on a dark face.
