How to Draw Frankenstein and his Bride
Step 1. The first step is to draw the guides and shapes for the monster couple's body frames. Start with the head guides, then draw the shoulders and some of the torsos. When that is done draw the length of the neck guides too.
Step 2. We will start with Frankenstein first. Draw the large thick shape of his long forehead, then sketch in the profile of the nose, mouth, chin and strong jaw structure. Also draw in the shape of Frankenstein's ear.
Step 3. Make the straight line for the top of his head, then draw in the rest of the head shape. When that is done sketch in Frankenstein's hair line, then add detailing inside the ear.
Step 4. Here you will draw in the scares and stitch lines along the side of the head and temple. When that is done draw the metal plate that is sticking out from the forehead as you see here. When that is done you can add the crease lines on the forehead, then draw Frankenstein's eyes which are closed so all you see is the lids. Add the frown lines, then some cheek detailing.
Step 5. Now that Frankenstein's face is all done being drawn in, you can now sketch out the shape of his neck, then draw the jacket which will also make up his torso. Don't forget to add the shirt line at the base of the neck.
Step 6. Finish the hair line at the base of the neck, then draw the long scare and stitch lines. When that is done you can add the bolt, and neck definition. Finish the jacket, then you are all done here.
Step 7. Now it's time to sketch out the shape of the Bride's face from a side profile. As you can see her head is tilted back like she is going to get kissed by Frankenstein. The long shape of her neck is beautiful so be sure to add this part of her body nicely.
Step 8. Now you can draw in the lips, then sketch out the eyes and eyebrows. The Bride of Frankenstein also has some scares so add that as well along her cheek near the jaw line. Lastly, draw in her lips.
Step 9. Cap off the head with her long curly hair which is very stiff from the electrifying effect that happened when she was brought back to life.
Step 10. Add the pretty wavy lines for the hair detailing or texture definition, then draw the hairline along the brow of her head. Don't forget to add some detailing inside the ear as well.
Step 11. For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw the shoulders, her arm that is reaching for her lover, and then the clothing that is slipping off her shoulder. You will also add the scare and stitch marks on the side of her neck as well. Erase the mistakes and you are all done.
Step 12. This is the line art when finished. Now you can color in the drawing any way you see fit. I hope you had fun folks!
