1

Start with a head guide, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

Using the guide, sketch out the opening for the hood, which will also have the flowing hair.

3

Now it's time to begin drawing the straight hair that is framing the hooded character's face. The bangs should sway to the right, and some of the length of the hair should stream out of the cloak as it's shown to you here.

4

Now you can draw out the wide shaped eye. Be sure that the top and bottom lid lining is thick or dark for added emotion. Then draw some detailing to the hair. You will also need to draw the nose and mouth.

5

Lastly, simply draw the hood for the cloak, then you can start erasing the mistakes.

6

All the shading and visual detailing should be added now along with the coloring. When you're done be sure to upload your art to show off your drawing.

Description: Here is a really cool drawing concept that I had a bunch of fun with. It's a mysterious figure in anime form wearing a hooded cloak to disguise who he is. Up next, we will learn "how to draw a hooded anime character", step by step. It's a simple yet stunning drawing that can be altered by adding whatever features you would like to see. I decided to make just a single eye as the other one is covered with his hair and the shadowing from the hood. I love how he came out, and he is even cool enough to draw for Halloween. I hope you have fun with this concept folks. I will be back later with other tuts for you all.
