1

The first thing you do is draw out the outlined shape of a shield. This actually looks like a badge.

2

Next, draw in the trim border which flows into all the curves and points of the badge or shield shape.

3

Again, draw another inner trim border which will trim the outer border.

4

Now add three diagonal shapes or stripes. These stripes are separated from one another.

5

Lastly, draw the letters 'NHL' and you are all done. Also notice how the letters are in a block letter form.

6

Now you can color in your symbol for the NHL. I hope you enjoyed this tut folks.

Description: This lesson goes out to all you NHL sports fans out there who have been waiting to see a tutorial on this sports logo. Up net we will tackle the task of learning how to draw the NHL logo, step by step. As you can see the logo is in black and white, and it also displays the letters 'N H L' which obviously stands for National Hockey League. The symbol is shaped as a shield of some sorts, and is bordered with a white trim. Even though I don't like sports, drawing this football symbol for the National Hockey League wasn't too bad.
