How to Draw Chibi Grumpy Cat

Make a large circle shape for the head, and a much smaller shape for the body.

Define the shape of Grumpy Cat's head like so, then add some fuzz near the base of the ear. You will draw in the ears next.

Like I said, you will now draw in the large, down angled ears like so. Don't forget to add the skin separation line along the inside the ear.

Make the long, straight prominent brow lines like so.

Then add the large shapes of the big eyes. See the light shading on the bottom lid line, this is to make the eyes appear to be sunken in.

Color in Grumpy Cat's pupils like so.

Now you will need to draw the markings around each eye, then draw the nose, small mouth, then the whiskers and chin.

Get started with drawing the small chibi body next. When that is done draw the tail.

Once you complete this step you will be done with your lesson. All that's left to do is add the front legs and paws. Erase all mistakes and guides.

Description: Remember Grumpy Cat? Well, for those of you who asked that I make a lesson on a chibi version here he is. I have to say, this concept of Grumpy Cat is way cutter then how he really looks in original form. I love his big block head, the grumpy expression on his face, and the small petite body. Learning how to draw chibi Grumpy Cat is probably going to be one of the funnest lessons you tackle today. So go and enjoy yourself and I will prepare another tut.
