How to Draw Link

Lets start this step by building a mannequin frame to make it a whole lot easier to draw Link. Start by drawing a circle for the head, then a straight line going across for the shoulders which will shape out the outline for the torso. You will then d

The only thing you will do here is sketch out the actual shape of Link's face. Now since he is looking in a downward pose, the chin is going to look a bit smaller then the rest of his face. Once that is all done, draw in his elven ear and add the det

Now you will begin sketching out the beginning stages of Link's hairstyle and line for the hat lid. Take your time and make sure that the hair strands looks nice and loose.

4

Sketch more detail in his hair and draw out his eyebrows. Move a little ways down and sketch out his eyes, nose, and of course mouth. Lastly, thicken the shape of the brows, and then color in the eye's pupils.

5

Here in this step is where you will draw in Link's legendary hat. Start the hat from where you left off on the previous step when I told you to draw in the lid line. As you can see his hat slopes into a cone shape. Sketch in the neck, and then draw i

As you can see you will start drawing in Link's torso in the form of his clothes. Begin by sketching out the shoulders and then his sleeves. Once that is done, draw in more of the shirt collar or flaps, and then sketch out the chest, and lower part o

You are more than half way done with this tutorial. Sketch in the detailed stitch lines in the middle of the neck collar, and then draw out the second layer of shirt sleeve. Draw out the belt, and then draw the sword that is visible. You will need to

Now it's time to sketch out Link's arms and hands. His hands are in a tight fist pose. Next, draw out the wrist and forearm padding he wears, and be sure to detail them properly. Next, finish drawing out his shirt, and then draw in the slits on the s

Now the steps are going to get easier. As you can see you will draw out the under shirt that Link wears, and then you can draw out the top half of his legs. AS you can see you will need to draw in some wrinkling around the knees.

Last step guys. All you do now is finish drawing out his legs in the form of his boots, and sketch in some last minute clothing detailing. When you think Link looks good, you can also start erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Hey everyone, it's time to learn "how to draw Link", step by step. As you know, this character was introduced to the gaming public for the Nintendo system in 1986. The Legend of Zelda is the first series of the Zelda chronicles. I actually played this game many times and got very addicted to it. Hours of game play as a character called Link, he is a brave, honest, humble boy who fights to save Princess Zelda from the grips of the evil Ganon. The Zelda saga has sold a whopping 52 million copies since its release back in 1987, with a total of 14 different adventures to choose from. The first in order is, the Legend of Zelda 1986, Zelda 2: Adventure of Link 1987, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 1991, The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening 1993, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Major’s Mask 2000, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons 2001, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages 2001, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords 2002, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Walker 2002, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures 2004, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap 2004, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 2006, and most recently released of the series is The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass 2007. I know, WOW, that is what I said when typing them in. Right now in my house I’m almost done with Twilight Princess, I thought it was going to be a lot bigger then what it is but its not. The graphics are definitely better and he seems more like a grown up boy then a little kid. Link is one of my favorite game play characters; he deals with anything and everything that comes his way. He is in fact the “Hero of Time”. In this tutorial you will learn "how to draw Link" with real easy steps and instructions. I took my time with him because he is one of the oldest characters that is out there today in the gaming world. There are only 6 steps, and the instructions are easy to understand. I hope you enjoyed reading this brief description of Link, hopefully a new game awaits.
