How to Draw a Phoenix Tattoo

The first thing you will need to make is the head and open beak. The lining should be nice and thick.

Next, color in the eye solid, then draw the tongue, nose hole and black marks down the back of the head and along the center of the body.

Continue to make more lining to thicken the phoenix's body and be sure to curl the tail.

Next up, sketch in the layered feathery wing, then you can proceed to step five where you will thicken the wing.

Add more rough feathers until you have a thick, widespread wing. This part of the body should be drawn in a swoop style.

Next, draw the right wing or the beginning parts of the right wing. When you do this make sure that the base is thick.

Finish off the phoenix by sketching out the rest of the wing. They shouldn't touch only blend in. Erase whatever mistakes you might have made.

That's it, you are all done with drawing a phoenix tattoo. Now you can have fun with coloring in your drawing.
