How to Draw a Guinea Pig

1

Start with two shapes, one for the head and the other for the body.

2

Next, sketch out the actual shape of the head like so, add the small mouth line then neck.

3

Now that some of the basics are added, we can work on getting the guinea pig's face drawn. Begin by coloring an eye, draw the short but floppy ears, then make the nose, whiskers and fluffy cheeks along the jaw line.

4

All you have to do here is draw in the stubby hairy front legs like so.

5

Next, draw the feet which have four toes on each but you can only see four toes on the foot closest to the viewer.

6

Define the shape of the body here, and when you do this be sure to make the lining sort of thick.

7

Almost done people. Draw the back feet and make the long toes.

8

Lastly, sketch in some of the hair on the side of the guinea pig's body like so, then erase the mistakes and guides.

9

That's it, you are all done. Now you can color in your guinea pig using any style you like.

Description: I've noticed a lot of people have been getting guinea pigs as pets lately and I know this because I either see them in friends homes, or because I have been getting more then a couple requests for a lesson on "how to draw a guinea pig", step by step. This guinea pig is going to be simple to tackle and even easier to recreate. I know those of you who requested this lesson will be pleased with it. I have to go now but I will return so stick around. Peace out people.
