How to Draw Nemesis
Step 1. Let's get started shall we? Begin by making the beginning guides which will help you draw Nemesis in proportion. Make the head and torso shapes like so, then sketch in the facial guidelines.
Step 2. Using the head guide you just made, sketch out the shape of Nemesis' face and structure. As you can see the chin is squared and this is because he is screaming with the mouth open.
Step 3. Next, draw in the outer lining for the wide open mouth. This is also the area where the gums and teeth with be massively exposed in a stretched out manner. Draw the notches for where the teeth will be placed.
Step 4. Simply draw a wavy line in the middle of the mouth to form the teeth, then sketch in some crease lines on the gums for pulled look.
Step 5. We will tackle the face next and to start we will begin sketching around the jowls making wrinkles and indent patches. Next, use the facial guideline to draw in the right eye. Make sure that it is beady but a bunch of shading surrounding the eye. There should also be a prominent brow hoovering around and over the right eye like you see here. Add some shading on both sides of eye. You will now draw in the stitched seam down the face starting from the top portion of the head, all the way down to the lower left side of the cheek. Add the stitches and then sketch in some texture definition.
Step 6. Okay, I will try my best to explain this step. Start with sketching out the thick shape of the monsters neck like so. You will then draw spot like shapes all over the upper part of the torso around the shoulders and chest. These holes will be the ripped open flesh patches which expose the muscle tissue.
Step 7. You will now draw the two tubes that are connected inside of the body. The flow over the shoulders, into the chest and around the back. The lining for the tubes should be drawn with a light crinkle to look like ribbed tubing.
Step 8. All you have to do here is fill in all those spots you made in step six with the scratchy lines to create the muscle tissue. Add shading in some parts as well as some creases and wrinkles on the chest as well.
Step 9. We will now work on sketching out Nemesis' humongous body or stature. He is very built and full of muscle. Start with sketching out the right shoulder and arm, then draw in the left shoulder. Once that is done you can draw in the chest and rib cage. Sketch in all the folds made from muscle definition.
Step 10. Lastly for your final step all you have to do is add more definition for texture detailing along the chest, rib cage, and arms. This is just veins and muscle. Erase the mistakes and you are done.
Step 11. Here is the line art when you are finished. Now you can enjoy the next task, coloring in Nemesis.

I see I have been getting a lot of positive feedback on this drawing I did on "how to draw Nemesis", step by step. The colored image I made was uploaded to my Facebook page and it was there that folks convey to me that they like what they see. I have always been a fan of Resident Evil so when I was asked to make a tutorial on drawing Nemesis I jumped on the idea because I know how cool this twisted monster is. His gigantic stature and pure evilness makes him one of the best creatures/monsters from a video game. This will be a challenging tut for novice artists as well as folks who have drawn complex characters in the past. Heck, it was hard for me making the initial sketch of Nemesis so I know that will be an exciting lesson to tackle. Go ahead and get busy and I will prepare my other tuts for submission.
