How to Draw a Joker Skull

1

Begin with small guide shape for the Joker skull's head. You will then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

Next, begin sketching out the very prominent brow shapes. Add a wrinkle between the brow as well.

3

Starting under the brow start sketching out the bony cheeks, then draw the bony upper jaw. You will also need to draw the teeth in.

4

Here we will sketch in the shapes of the Joker's eyes. They should be very expressive and daunting. Sketch out the hole for the nose, then add detailing around the nose ends and above the eyes.

5

Next up, draw the entire shape of the skull's face and angled jaw. Draw the bottom jaw along with the teeth. When that is done you will need to add the hat line along the skull.

6

You can now start drawing the jester style hat. The hat cones upward where it will split in two.

7

Finish the style of the jester hat like so, then draw the jingle bells at the ends of each tassel.

8

We will draw the large diamond shapes for the collar which will eventually be game cards. Then you will draw one card flying.

9

Now you will draw the graffiti style question mark like so that hoovers under the Skull's head.

10

Draw the other question mark like so, then move along to the next step.

11

Continue working on the next question mark, and when you do this be sure to draw the point away from the face.

12

Lastly, draw the tail from the hat. It's another tassel that is swaying away from the Joker's head. Erase those mistakes and guidelines.

13

That's it you are done. Color in this skull and show off your work.

Description: Today I have a drawing that was ramdonly done out of the blue. I was going through some request emails and I came across one that asked if I could make a tutorial on a Joker style skull. I disregarded the email and put it on the back-burner because I know something like that would take me at least a couple days. When I started drawing I started sketching out random lines which eventually ended up being a rough sketch of a Jester or Joker with a skull for a face. I think this happened because I was still thinking of the idea for this type of skull art. I wasn't paying attention to my hands or what I was drawing because my mind was still on the tut request. I ended up finishing in a couple hours instead of days. I hope you enjoy drawing a Joker skull folks, be sure to add your own little touches to the design concept.
