Lets start drawing Lucy as a body frame so that it will be a whole lot easier to draw her out. Start with a circle for Lucy's head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw a neck and torso line as well as another circle shape for her bo

Description: The next character that I will be showing you how to draw is a very spunky girl that is a part of the Peanuts gang from Charlie Brown. She has black slightly bobbed hair, she wears a blue dress and she is very demanding. If you guessed Lucy Van Pelt you guessed right. I will teach you how easy it is to draw Lucy from the Peanuts gang step by step. Lucy is a strong minded and strong willed girl that is often seen selling psychiatric help for five cents a pop. Peanuts characters are always fun to draw because they are so easy and somewhat comical. Lucy used to have a crush on the very humble Charlie Brown. But as time went on and more episodes were written, she started treating Charlie the same way she treated her younger brother Linus. She is now unconditionally in love with Schroeder but he just brushes off her attempts to get his affection and attention. Yes, for those of you that did not know, Linus is the younger brother of Lucy and so is Rerun who is the boy that often wears a red striped pointed hat. The reason why she is somewhat verbally brutal with Linus is because she wants him to do away with his blanket that he carries with him twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Linus kind of reminds me of my younger brother because he too has a security blanket that he just can’t part with. I know many of you may not remember Lucy’s even younger brother Rerun. This is due to the fact that he wasn’t added to the Peanuts gang until the early seventies and really didn’t gain popularity until the late nineties. She gets along with Rerun better than she does with Linus. I still haven’t mentioned how Lucy feels about Snoopy. If you remember, she is constantly dreading getting licked by the white and black beagle. Snoopy loves messing with her because he has an infatuation with Lucy. She often runs out screaming “Uggg…get some water, get some disinfectant!” The show is pretty hilarious and I love all the different specials they air on CBS during certain holidays. Oh, and if you didn’t know, Schroeder is the character that plays the mini piano with the blonde hair. All the Peanuts characters are awesome and I think I may even draw the whole gang. This lesson will teach you how to draw Lucy Van Pelt from the Peanuts Gang step by step. Have fun with this one and remember I shall return with more exciting lessons in a bit.
