How to Draw My Neighbor Totoro

Draw a circle for the head then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Next, draw out the outlined shape for his body starting with the pointed ears, then sides of the face then the arms. Totoro is a wide character.

Sketch out the rest of the body which is just the legs and wide feet and toes.

Use the facial guidelines to draw the circle eyes, color in the pupils, then draw the nose and small mouth dot.

Make the large circle marking on the belly, then you can proceed.

Draw the small boomerang shapes on the upper parts of the torso, then you can move to step seven to finish things off.

Add the claws on the hands, then make the marks on the toes to create those nails too. Erase all the mistakes if you made any at all.

The line art comes out looking like the drawing you see here. Now you can color in Totoro and show folks what you have created.

Description: I already have a lesson on Totoro but I was in the mood to make another that is more up to date and a lot more accurate. Here is another version of "how to draw My Neighbor Totoro", step by step. I have talked about this character at least four times already and with every time I almost say the same thing. So instead of boring you with nonsense, I will leave you to drawing My Neighbor Totoro so I can prepare my next lessons. Peace out amigos.
