Begin this step with a big circle for the shape of Bella's head and then add her facial guidelines as you see them here.

Now, you will start sketching out the front line of her hair as seen here and make sure you add a few jagged lines to convey the hair strands. Draw a wavy line on the side of her face for her long hair style and then add the eye lines using facial gu

You will start sketching out more hair lines and the actual shape of her head. Make sure you also add a few lines for hair strands and don't make them all straight. Bella has wavy hair so you lines should sometimes be wavy. Start sketching out the sh

You are already almost done with your drawing of Bella Swan. What I want you to do now is sketch in more hair strand lines to add some detail and definition to her hair. Next add some shading to her eyebrows and then draw in her eyeballs as well as c

This is your last drawing step and as you can see you will sketch out the rest of her hair strand lines for added body and texture. Shade in almost the whole left side of her face very lightly as you see here. But before you do any shading you have t

Description: In light of Twilight I wanted to fill some requests out there from DragoArt members who wanted a few more characters from the movie. The top four requested characters from Twilight are Edward Cullen, Alice Cullen, Bella Swan, and Jasper Cullen. So since I already have two out of four scratched off my list, I figured I would go for number three and submit a tutorial on "how to draw Bella Swan" from Twilight step by step. Bella’s character is played by Kristen Stewart which is the same girl from “Zathura”, and “The Messengers”. I mean of course she stared in many more flicks but I’m just mentioning the pop culture movies that some of you may be familiar with. Anyways, Isabella Swan is a soft spoken, quite, mature, and isolated high school girl that happens to be the love of Edward Cullen. Bella is one of the main characters in the movie Twilight and I can’t begin to tell you how many times this movie has been watched in my house. Let me put it this way, whenever I go down stairs, there is always someone in the parlor watching that movie. I mean yeah I like it and all but I honestly don’t know how many times an individual can watch a flick. I think it’s because the story is so awesome, the music is great, and because the passion that Robert Pattinson has playing Edward Cullen is pretty amazing. Kristen Stewart also did an excellent job playing Bella. She gave the character a voice from the paper. One of my favorite parts of the movie is when she is in the hospital (the second time) and Edward tells her to go to Jacksonville with her mother. The way Bella acted when he said that to her, made me a bit emotional because she really showed how much she loves Edward. I can’t wait until the New Moon comes out, that is gonna be an intense wait once the previews start airing on TV. Anyway, I used her face from the very popular poster that is seen almost everywhere you look for a reference and I think she came out nice. The one thing I would like to change and I will change, is the front of her hair. I forgot to draw a part in the middle to show that she wears her hair parted and pinned back on the sides. Well I hope you enjoy this lesson on how to draw Bella Swan from Twilight step by step. I will return again so stay tuned. This tutorial is under the advanced section because it may be hard for some artists that are just starting out. Enjoy!
