How to Draw a Ship For Kids

Start by drawing the arched shape of the base for your ship then draw the post line.

Define the shape of the ship like so, then draw in a back part of the boat.

Add the lines to form the planks which is the classic style ship, then draw some holes on the bottom of the boat like so as well as a seam line.

You will draw the small door which goes down to the hull, then draw the railing at the top part of the ship which is a second level.

Now you can draw in the post in better detail, then draw in two sails.

Lastly, draw the skull on the sail, then you are all done and ready to erase the mistakes.

Here is the finished drawing when you are all done. Now you color in the ship.

Description: Okay so I am one away from being done with my submissions for the day so I hope you have fun with this lesson. Up next we will learn "how to draw a ship for kids", step by step in a classic style. The ship that you see here is the traditional plank style ship. When I say plank style I mean the design of the boat is the classic design with plank boards making up the body. As you can see the ship also has the big sail with a skull printed on it. You can choose to leave the sail blank, but if you want to draw a pirate ship, this leave the skull. Anyways, have fun with this tut folks, and be sure to keep those requests coming through.
