Here is where you will begin by drawing the outlined shape for the head. Sketch in the facial guidelines then move to step two.

2

Now that the facial guide is drawn you can sketch out the facial structure and shape. Add the hairline and then some of the ear.

3

Next, draw and color in the eyebrows, then draw in the shapes for each eye. Add the eyeballs and then you can proceed to step four.

4

Here you will sketch out the shape of Chopin's nose and then his lips and mouth. Add detailing inside the ear like so, then proceed to step five.

5

Continue on by sketching out the rest of his hairstyle which is nice and wavy, then add detailing to the hair for texture.

6

For the last drawing step you will draw the high stiff collar and then draw the shoulders. Add detailing to the jacket, then move along to step seven which is the line art step. Erase your mistakes as well.

7

Here is the line art once you are all done. Now you can color in the drawing and that's it.

Description: So this classical artist that I am about to submit falls in the same category as J.S. Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and even Franz Schubert. Today I will show you "how to draw Chopin", step by step. Frederic Chopin has always been recognized as being a child prodigy as well as a gifted piano player. He was born on February 22, 1810 in Żelazowa Wola, Poland to a then poor woman named Justyna Krzyżanowska, and his father Nicolas Chopin who was a Frenchmen but left France and resided in Poland. When Chopin was a small child the family relocated to Warsaw back when it was still under Russian government. It was there that Chopin learned, created, and wrote a number of his works which included sonatas, mazurkas, waltzes, nocturnes, polonaises, scherzos, preludes, and other compositions and works. Frederic Chopin died in 1849 from what historians believe to be tuberculosis. Drawing Chopin should be a relatively easy task because I made sure that the lesson be easy to follow. I will be back in a bit so try and stay tuned in to see what else pops up new.
