Make the oblong shape for Dan's head then sketch in the facial guidelines. You will then add the neck line as well as the shoulders for his torso.

Next, sketch out the angled shape of Dan's face, then draw in the beginning part of his hairstyle. Draw the ear and move on.

Here you will sketch out Dan's head and hairstyle. As you can see his hair is sort of scruffy in the back, and be sure to draw in the other ear.

Draw the eyebrows, shapes of Dan's eyes, then draw in the nose and mouth. This should be a simple task.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw the shape of the neck, shoulders and arms. He is wearing a tee shirt under his zipper up sweater so be sure to draw in the collar which is also detailed. Erase your mistakes and you are finished.
