Hello once again all, and welcome back to another drawing lesson that is sure to please. Some of you may have watched me draw out this tutorial live yesterday and that was a pretty fun experience. I figured that since I like rock and roll and since I sometimes fantasize about being a performer, I thought it would be fun to do a lesson on "how to draw a rockstar", step by step. This was a really fun character to draw because I got to dress her the way I think that I would dress myself if I were a rock star. You don’t see too many female rock stars and when you do they are kind of mediocre. There are a few performers that I really like and one of them was used as inspiration for the coloring of this character. I like singers like Amy Lee from Evanescence and Pink. Pink is a rocking performer and artist and I think she will be around for a very long time. At first I was going to draw my character with long hair that had a tease going on, but then I thought that giving her short spiky looking hair would probably be a better choice. I love the way that her clothes came out and the way I drew her mouth singing into the mic. The coloring was kind of easy after I chose a color grid to work with. Pink is the dominate color of choice because the singer Pink looks good and tough at the same time while holding her girly image. I think that you girls out there that visit will have an awesome time learning "how to draw a rockstar", step by step. All the steps are easy to follow and the instructions will help you understand what to tackle first to insure that you will create an awesome drawing as well. I will be back with more drawing fun, but in the mean time try this lesson on for size! Peace out people!
