1

Draw an outlined shape of the face, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

Next, sketch out the shapes of Madison's face, then draw in the hairline which is one of the first to be in an actual shape instead of a straight line.

3

Sketch in the eyebrows and color them in, then draw the shape of his nose along with the nostrils, and frowning lines on his face.

4

Draw the eyes like so, then draw in the mouth, chin, and then sketch in the cheeks. Add those puffy bags under each eye.

5

Draw the shape of the neck, then draw the very stiff, high lined jacket collar. Draw the bow-tie, then sketch in the detailing to the tie.

6

Lastly, sketch in the rest of his hair, as well as the long braid behind his neck. Draw and detail the ear as well. Erase your mistakes folks.

7

The line art comes out looking like the drawing you see here. Color in your former president if you want.

Description: If you where to break down the founding fathers to the best four, you would have a hard time trying to think of the fellas you hear more quotes from. In my opinion I would have to say George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and James Madison. We will learn how to draw James Madison, step by step. Madison was said to be the Father of the Constitution as well as one of the founding fathers. He was also the fourth president of the United States, and the first president to also be a congressman. After all his works, he finally passed away at the age of eighty five. Drawing James Madison will be as easy to tackle like the other presidents I submitted lessons on. Thanks for joining me for this tutorial folks, I shall return again.
