How to Draw a Porsche

Step 1.

Start this first step with basic guidelines and shapes to form a frame for your Porsche 911. The first circle is the largest and this is in the shape of an egg, and this circle is for the main body of the car. You will then draw a smaller egg shape for the hood and then add two horizontal lines as seen here on for the hood and then the other straight lines for the windshield and side frame.

Step 2.

Okay in this second step you will start drawing out the body of the car starting with the front fender and the left arched line for the hood and side fender. You will then draw the opening for the wheel wells as well as the side frame for the driver’s side door. Once you have completed this step you can proceed onto the next.

Step 3.

In this next step you will start drawing out the front fender and hood lining on the vehicle. Once that is done draw the shape of the right headlight as well as the fog lights and shape f the windshield and back end of the car. Add the vertical line on the side for the door and then move onto the next step.

Step 4.

This is your fourth step and all you have to do here is first draw out the shape of the small grill where the license plates goes, and then draw out the shape of the tires and inner circles for the rims. You will then draw out the shape of the windshield as seen here and then move to the next step.

Step 5.

You have made it to your last drawing step and as you can see this is where it gets detailed. First draw out all the lining for the grill that sits under the headlights and then sketch in the definition to the headlights themselves. Next write a name on your plate in this case I chose "Drago" and then draw out the side mirrors. You will then add the lining for the windows and door as well as the door handle and then detail the side of the car with the definition lines. The last thing you will need to do is draw out the style of the rims as you see them here. Once that is complete you can start erasing the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 6.

When complete your Porsche should come out looking like the one you see here. All that is left to do is coloring it in the shade you like best. Once that is done, you have finished this drawing lesson on how to draw a Porsche 911 Carrera Car step by step.

This next tutorial is going to be on another sports car that I think will be a big hit. Now my father is the one that suggested that I do a lesson on how to draw a Porsche 911 car step by step. At first I was going to draw an older model of the 911 but then I got to thinking “maybe the newer model would be better” so that is what I ended up doing. I had to look at a bunch of reference pictures to get the perfect position right for the Porsche because I wanted to include a background that was showing off motion. Out of all the years of Porsches out there, I chose to sketch out the 2007 911 Carrera because it was the most attractive (to me at least). As I looked at various pictures of the 2007 model, I also learned some of the specs associated with this sports car. So not only are you going to draw a Porsche sports car, you will also learn some interesting facts. I used to have a subscription to Car and Driver magazine but since I didn’t keep up the payments I no longer get them in the mail. So now I must resort to getting my information online which isn’t so bad. Now the 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is said to be a top choice for sports car enthusiasts who are in the market to buy a Porsche model car. The great thing about the Carrera is that it can be driven for everyday travel for added comfort and style. I love all different types of cars, trucks and SUV’s, so whenever I think about drawing a car or any other kind of transportation vehicle, I usually will choose something that is popular in the present day or in the days of the past. Tomorrow, I will be submitting a lesson on how to draw an 87 Firebird Trans-Am step by step. The reason why I am choosing to draw this car is because one of my uncles owned one back in the mid 90’s and it was bad as hell. I will get into the specifics tomorrow to give me something to write about. But for now you should try and learn how to draw a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 step by step. I will be back with more drawing fun so stay tuned gang and keep your eyes open. Peace out!
