How to Draw Eridan, Homestuck

Start this first step for Eridan the same way you did Gamzee. Draw a circle for the head, and a simple shape for his body. Sketch in the facial guidelines, then proceed to step two.

Sketch out the actual shape of the face like so, then begin drawing the flaming style of the hair. Draw in his small horns, as well as the curled or combed over bangs.

Add detailing to his hair which is a strip of white. Add lines on the horns, then draw in his glasses, eyes, and mouth. Don't forget to draw those fin like shapes on the sides of his face.

You are almost done. The next thing you need to do is draw the cape which is flowing as it touches the floor. Draw the end line for the shirt, then move to the next and last drawing step.

Draw the legs then draw the shoes. Draw the design on the shirt as well as the Aquarius symbol on the shirt. Erase the mistakes so you have a clean image to color in.

Here is the line art when you are all done. Just color him in and that's it. You have a new Homestuck character to show off.

Description: Even though I’m not familiar with the webcomic one hundred percent created by Andrew Hussie, it still has a few interesting looking characters that I would call cool. This lesson is going to be on "how to draw Eridan", step by step. His full name is Eridan Ampora and his zodiac sign is Aquarius. His style is a little different than Gamzee because his hair is a lot shorter, he wears glasses, and he also has a purple colored cape. The light purple colored skin and fin like ears makes this character easy and interesting for the eyes to look at. If you like Homestruck, you will love drawing Eridan Ampora. I have to bolt out of here because there is a lot for me to do and so little time for me to do it.
