I know this mark that you are viewing right now holds a lot of bad history. Even though the Nazis used this symbol, it originally doesn't represent what we think of it as. The swastika originally comes from Ancient India’s Indus Valley. Buddhism, Jainism, and Hinduism all have used and still use this symbol in their religion. The symbol is actually a cross that has bent arms with each one of them in 90 degree angles. Even though we know that the swastika wasn't always part of an evil dictator’s military symbol, we still recognize it to be a sign of death, destruction, tyranny, and pure evil. Adolph Hitler may have been one of the monstrous men who have ever lived, but he and this symbol are part of our history no matter where you live in the world. Is the swastika still used today? Unfortunately yes it is. Skin head clans and even the KKK still incorporate this symbol with their beliefs because it is, and will always be a symbol of hatred. I hate to say it, but I do hope you at least learn something from drawing a swastika even if the meaning behind the symbol has permanently been tainted by Nazi Germany.
