How to Draw Thunk, The Croods

Start off by making the shape of a pear for Thunk's head shape. Sketch in the facial guidelines then proceed to step two.

Here you will basically sketch out the structure of Thunk's face and head, then sketch in the hair line starting with his bangs that fall off to each side.

Next, sketch out the eyebrows, then draw in the small circular eyes. When that is done you can draw the nose, smile, teeth and or mouth. Add the chin line, then proceed to step four.

Finish drawing the messy hairstyle like so, then add some of the layered pieces to add some full texture.

Draw out Thunk's thick wide neck, then draw in the collar for his clothing and make the edging for his animal hide dress hairy lined. Erase the mistakes then you are ready to check out the line art.

Description: For those of you that know, the much anticipated move ‘The Croods’ is going to be released soon which means requests for the characters are going to start piling in. Today I will be uploading two more figures from the film with the first one on "how to draw Thunk", step by step. Thunk is a massive individual that is only nine years old. He weighs three hundred and change, and is six feet nine inches tall. Now the saying goes, the bigger they are the dumber they’ll be definitely pertains to Thunk because he is not a smart boy at all by no means. He also has bad coordination which makes him that more hazardous to be around. The most important thing about Thunk is that he loves his family and he would do anything for them. His big hearts shines through because he wears it on his sleeve or shoulder. Drawing Thunk is going to be rather fun because he has a very friendly face that is easy to recreate. I will be back again, so keep those touches to the seat. Peace.
