How to Draw Gran, The Croods

You will begin by drawing her head structure like so, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

In this step you have to sketch out the actual shape of Gran's face, and when doing so you will need to make the loose skin flaps and a chin. It should end up looking like the outline of an old lady's face.

Using the guides, draw in the eyes, color in the pupils, then draw and color in the eyebrows.

Now we will draw Gran's big round nose that seems to get wider the further you go down. Add the frown lines around the nose, then draw in her smile as well as her buck style looking tooth.

Next, draw the shape of her torso or what you can see. This includes the back arch, shoulders, and neck collar. Add the lining for her shirt sleeves too.

Lastly, draw Gran's crazy puffy style hair. This is like drawing a very big fan that has feather like edges. Add some folded strands down the center of her head, then start erasing your mistakes.

Here is what Gran looks like all drawn out. Now you can color her in to completion.

Description: Look at that face you see before you now. It is what you call one of the oldest cavewoman I ever seen. Meet Gran, she is Ugga's mother and Grug's mother-in-law.
