How to Draw a Baby Kitten
Step 1. Draw a circle for the head, and a 'pear' shape for that kitten's body. The line down the head helps you figure out were to draw the eyes which we will draw later on.
Step 2. ext draw simple shapes for feet, and paws, and a swooshy line for the tail. The kitten is sitting up so his paws are in the air, closer to his head.
Step 3. Finally for the last part of the sketch you need to draw a shape for the snout and nose, which should be somewhat of a 'triangle' shape. Two circles for the eyes, and two pointy triangles for the ears.
Step 4. Now it is time for the details! First we start with the head. The head should be around and should have somehow of puffy cheeks, because if the head was completely round it would look a bit silly and not really cat like. Also don't forget to add some hair 'fluff' on the top to show he is fluffy. Finally, draw him some simple roundish eyes with pupils.
Step 5. To finish off the head you need to draw the ears. The ears should not be plain triangles, but should have a somewhat curvy look it them. Next the nose, then finally give him an evil little kitten smile, knowing that one day he will get the ball of yarn.
Step 6. The kitten has a long fluffy body, and Also don't forge to finally add the whiskers!
Step 7. Next, simple add the lines for the limbs. Don't make them to jointy or to straight. The kitten is playing so his paws and arms should be moving freely. Also kittens have big paws, and so will this one.
Step 8. Now draw the tail. It should be curvy and free flowing.
Step 9. Last time for the ball of yarn, balls of yarn are simple. They are round shaped and make many curvy lines inside the shape. Also have some yarn around the kitten as well to look as if he is tangle up.
Step 10. Now just add a nice black outline and coloring him in anyway you like!
Step 11. Kittens come in many colors, mine kitten will be orange, and his ball of yarn will be bluish-green. Orange and blue are colors that looks good together.
Step 12. Just add some fun shading and your done!
