How to Draw Anime People

Step 1.

Start this first step by drawing out the guidelines and shapes to form a mannequin like frame for the couple. Start with two circles for the heads and then the guidelines for the bodies lines of position. Once you have completed this step you can move to the next.

Step 2.

In this next step you will start drawing out the shape of the face or jaw. Once that is complete add the lines for their eyes and then start shaping out the males legs and arms. You will then shape out both torsos and then add the lines for the fingers on the females hands.

Step 3.

Okay you are now on your third step and what you will do here is start sketching out the hair style for both the manga girl and the manga boy. Once that is done you will draw out the shapes of the arms for the couple and then start drawing out the females body as seen here. Now what you will do next is sketch out the finger shapes and then the bottom of shape of the anime boys legs.

Step 4.

Before you go any further you will have to finish the hair style of their hair. The boy has a long spiky look and then the female needs her hair on the right side of her face. Once the hair is situated you will add the shapes of the eyes in more detail and then add his pupils. Give them both a nose, mouth and smile and then start sketching out the detailing and shapes of their cloths. Add the boys feet and then draw more of her legs and one foot on the left.

Step 5.

Now that the hair is pretty much drawn out you will just add some detailing like hair strands. Add the design to her arm sleeve stockings like stripes. And then do the same on her legs. You will sketch in some ruffle on her skirt and then add some toes and right foot shape. You will then draw out the necklace on the boy and then add the wrinkle and crease detail on his shirt and pants.

Step 6.

Well you have made it to your last drawing step and what you will do now is sketch in the remaining detailing on his clothes and then his pants. You will add some laces on his sneakers and then finish the strips on her legs. You can start erasing the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and then proceed to see the finished product.

Step 7.

This is what your characters should look like when you are done. All you have to do now is color them in and give them some names. You have just learned How to Draw Anime People, Couple step by step. I hope you learned something new with this online drawing lesson.

Well I hope everyone here at is having a very nice holiday and I hope you have all enjoyed my first drawing lesson on how to draw a Shire horse. This next tutorial I will be showing you "how to draw anime people", couple step by step. I always wanted to do a tutorial on manga people doing different types of things. With this lesson you’ll be learning the complexity of drawing a female riding on a male back. I used the characters from a friend on a website. This pose was based off an art trade I did with her. I had a lot of fun designing the clothing and faces. I found that no one had a tutorial on how to draw a manga couple or how to draw anime people step by step. For the future tutorials I will be making awesome tutorials on anime and manga people. This step by step tutorial will teach you somewhat of the essentials to bring your manga couple to life. The inspiration came from a commercial I seen with two manga characters running through the meadows. I forgot what anime show it was though XD. I tried the best that I could possibly do to make these steps easy. I had no other way to make the steps understandable and a breeze to complete. The two characters names are Sabrina and Shadow. I forgot to give Sabrina an “S” pendant as a necklace like shadow does. These couples are Goth or emo. I added a touch of my fashion to the characters to make them a little more appealing to the eye. The color choices were a bit of a challenge. I tried to limit my color scheme to only three. The skin tone of the Sabrina and Shadow are Caucasian. They are not Asian!!! I looked at a color wheel to get the Caucasian skin tone just right. Well that’s all I can say about this tutorial! I hope you will learn how to draw anime people step by step easier!
