How to Draw Chibi Rick Grimes, The Walking Dead

Begin with a circle for the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the shape for the body, as well as the lining for the legs.

Using the circle you drew in step one, draw out the entire shape of Rick's head and face. The folded lines on the top of the head is going to be for his combed back hair.

Begin this step by sketching out the hairline using a light stroke. When that is done add detailing to the actual head of hair. These lines should align with the bumps that you drew as part of his head in step two. Draw in the ears, then add some det

The next thing you will do is begin drawing out chibi Rick's tired, worn out, stressed eyes. The lining should be sharp and bold, and the eyebrows should be in an expressive pose. Add the bags or winkles under the eyes, then draw the mouth. Add detai

Rick's face and head is all done. Now we can tackle the body. Start with the shoulders, then draw the arms as well as one of his hands. Finish drawing the torso as well as the tucked in shirt.

Begin drawing the hips then draw the legs. The bottom of the pants should be loose and cuffed a bit like you see here. Add the proper detailing then proceed to step seven.

Draw the collar for his shirt, then sketch in all the wrinkles, creases and folds on the shirt. Draw in Rick's belt, then draw the shoes. You will also need to add detailing to the pants.

I decided to equipped Rick withe the ax he used to chop off Hershel's leg off with. So in the left hand, draw the ax, then draw the rest of the hand and arm. Erase the mistakes and guidelines.

Here is chibi Rick when you are all done. Color in this drawing and that's it.

Description: So I did the lesson on a regular Rick Grimes which was in the top 50 for a day or two. Today I will follow the momentum and upload this tutorial on "how to draw chibi Rick Grimes" from Walking Dead, step by step. Tomorrow is Sunday, and every Walking Dead fan out there knows that Sundays on AMC is the day that The Walking Dead comes on. I am so excited to see what happens next because honestly, that is my show. I'm not one to watch a television series, but Walking Dead is definitely more than just a series to me. The fella that plays Rick Grimes is actually English actor Andrew Lincoln. I have never heard of him before, nor have I seen him in any other movies, but his acting is deserves an Emmy for his role in The Walking Dead. It was a treat for me to make this lesson on drawing chibi Rick Grimes. I hope you all enjoy it, because I know I did. Peace out fellow walker hunters!
