Hello once again members, artist and visitors to another awesome drawing tutorial here on Yesterday was the first day of December which means there is only 24 days left until Christmas and just 20 days away from the first day of Hanukkah. I will be submitting some more Christmas tutorials today but before I get to those I want to submit a tutorial that was requested by a member a week to two weeks ago. For my first drawing lesson I will be showing you "how to draw an electric guitar", step by step. The Dean Razorback guitar is an electric guitar that was used by the lead guitarist from the heavy metal rock band “Pantera”. Dean guitars are considered to be the world’s finest brand of guitar according to hundreds of avid guitar observers, users, and fans and famous musicians. The unique body design and style of the Razorback makes this six string guitar something to talk about. Dimebag Darrell used one of these instruments while performing on stage, studio and home. His real name was Darrell Lance Abbott and he was one of the founding members of the bands Pantera, and Damageplan. The reason why I said he “was” a founding member is because Darrell passed away back in 2004 by a mentally ill ex-marine during a concert in Columbus Ohio. Since then the loss of “Dimebag Darrell” has touched hearts of fans and fellow musicians around the world. His signature brand guitar was the razorback and I can see why he would use such an instrument. First off it was made in the USA which to me is a very important factor because folks still have their jobs. The original model of the Razorback has a rusted hand-airbrushed metal finish over the entire guitar, and a tribute crest on the headstock. It has Dimebag traction knobs, pearl razor inlay, and a Floyd rose tremolo. For the pickups it has a Dean USA DimeTime bridge on the neck. This amazing guitar also has Grover tuners, black hardware, and a set neck construction. Although this sweet sounding guitar sounds like you want to get up and buy one today, the cost of such an instrument retails at over five thousand dollars. Dimebag also used the Razorback V as well and Dean has a tribute guitar that was designed by Dimebag Darrell himself. The Razorback guitar has a supreme sound with precise playing capability so that your music sounds the best each time a string is stroked. My father loves guitars and I know that Dean is on his top five list of best guitars ever made. This tutorial will show you "how to draw a Dean Razorback guitar" used by Dimebag Darrell step by step. I really took my time drawing out this guitar because I wanted it to come out almost perfect. Since I love Pantera and my dad loves playing the guitar, this Razorback came out looking “sharp”. I will be back with some seasonal tutorials in a while so stay tuned folks there is more on the way.
