You will now begin sketching out the actual elongated structure of the skull from a side view profile. Notice how there is a big gap at the tip or top of the nose, this is where the rounded tissue part of the cow's snout was located when alive. Draw

Description: I think I may have actually uploaded one of these lessons in the past, but I don't think I called it "how to draw a cow skull", step by step. When one thinks of the desert or a cowboy style desert to be more specific, you will more than likely think of those skulls that are sporadically scattered throughout the desert plains. Now, there is a belief that native Americans tattoo their bodies with either paint or permanent ink using the image of cow skulls. Supposedly, these skulls are supposed to symbolize the ability for a native American man to provide food, and other necessities for his family. It's sort of like a mark which is also a blessing. Now I might be wrong with this statement so don't hold it to me. The Native American culture have many beliefs which are all based upon mother nature and the principle to take what you need, and give back to the earth what you have used. They are very spiritual people, and I have much respect for them because they to me are the true founders of America. After all, they are the ones that helped settlers grow food by teaching them to fertilize their sandy soils using fish. Anyways, I think this will be an awesome design for a tattoo if you are the cow skull loving type, or a perfect design for a cowboy background setting. There is still more to come so stay tuned to see what I have for you all next.
